On Friday, October 10, 2014, over 800 volunteers converged across the Omaha-Council Bluffs-Bellevue metro area with one goal: to make a difference through volunteerism. Dozens of projects later, our city was changed for the better. It's thanks to the local individuals, companies, organizations and nonprofits that this year's special day of volunteerism was a success. Your commitment to change is an inspiration - and by combining your efforts, you make our Community Strong.
2014 Day of Caring Overview
It only takes a few minutes to see how powerful volunteers are when they commit to making a difference. Hear how this year's Day of Caring helped local companies rally their employees around a great cause, and gave local nonprofits the help they needed to continue serving the most vulnerable in our community.
Day of Caring is a success because of the dedication of local companies to our cause. We followed a few of the participating organizations to see how their efforts made a difference. Thank you to these five companies, and to the many others who committed employees to volunteer projects.
