Nebraska 2-1-1 keeps an accurate and comprehensive database that you can use to find health and human services to meet your needs. Our database allows you to browse hundreds of health and human services online, learn about specific programs, intake requirements, eligibility, operation hours and more. The database also has information on disaster-related services.

Why is 2-1-1 important?

Through this vital service, United Way helps our community identify ongoing and urgent needs. Calling 2-1-1 helps eliminate confusing and frustrating searches for our most vulnerable populations – those who are elderly, have a disability, don’t speak English, etc. – and others who need help finding available services.

Who do we serve?

Our 2-1-1 Call Center serves the state of Nebraska and nine counties in southwest Iowa: Pottawattamie, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Shelby, Cass, Montgomery, Fremont and Page. Across the U.S., 94% of the U.S. population can dial 2-1-1, and 30 states have statewide coverage, including Nebraska and Iowa. 41 states have 100% coverage.
