211 Program assistant

The Assistant Vice President (AVP), Programs is a critical member of the Community Investment and Programs leadership team, reporting directly to the SVP, Community Investment and Programs. The position is responsible for the successful daily operations of UWM’s direct service/program work, including the 211 Contact Center, Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) Nebraska, and the Court Referral and Community Service Program (CRCSP), working in conjunction with program managers, directors and senior directors. The incumbent will be experienced with new program start-up and implementation, while maintaining a growth mindset to generate new ideas and pursue opportunities to serve additional clients in the community. 

Accounting/Administrative specialist

The Accounting/Administrative Specialist position will be responsible for accurately receipting checks and ACHs into United Way of the Midlands’ proprietary donor management system. In addition, this position has a strong administrative component and will provide general administrative assistance to several different departments within the organization. This position will be 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

Senior accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for the daily accounting functions and monthly close process of the United Way of the Midlands.

211 Victim Assistance Navigator


The 211 Victim Assistance Navigator assists crime victims in navigating the physical, emotional, legal, and financial consequences of crime. The Navigators will answer inbound calls, texts, emails, and chat messaging from individuals ages 60+, who are victims of a crime.

Community Resource Specialist I

The Community Resource Specialist I is responsible to respond to individuals in need of assistance through multiple channels of communication.
