Remember the first book you read that made you think, “Wow, this is really awesome and I can’t put it down!”?
This Giving Tuesday, gift a child with their very own #SlamDunkBook by donating to Book Trust, a special initiative that aims to improve grade-level literacy in Title 1 schools in the Omaha-Council Bluffs Metro.

Just $7
can purchase up to three books for a student, who uses those dollars to choose and order books they want to read.

More than 93,000 books
were delivered to students across the metro since 2016. Every month classrooms receive their “book box” and books are passed out among the class.

20–30 books
go home with each student, every school year. These books build home libraries that may have not existed otherwise as well as student confidence.
Become A Slam Dunk Book Advocate
Help us spread the word and get more books in the hands of kids by participating in fun activities that inspire others to give and share their slam dunk book story.1. Share Your “Unselfie”
Turn your “selfie” into something meaningful. When you donate, share why you helped a student find their #SlamDunkBook by taking an “unselfie” and sharing it on social media. Unselfies give you an opportunity to share a unique message about why you give that you can share with your friends and family. You can even make your profile photo your “unselfie” photo.
