United Way Symposium Series
In 2016, UWM and its partners, University of Nebraska-Omaha and Buffett Early Childhood Institute, launched a series of community discussions and symposiums to engage area leaders and local residents.
These gatherings provide opportunities to talk about access to supports like health care and food security, and the growing number of disenfranchised young people in our metropolitan area. The goals of each event is to better understand the community’s challenges, identify opportunities to address these challenges, and arrive at shared expectations for what progress and success will look like.
